Age 65 Senior citizens program director Widowed Plays a mean game of bridge, bakes the best brownies, knits one, purls one (scarf is a work in progress)

Being director at a senior center is a second career for me. I love being able to help people. And I love the social connection. A group of us meet regularly for bridge. I always bring brownies. (They'd be disappointed if I didn't!) One of the ladies is teaching me to knit.
Osteoporosis has slowed me down some. I've already had a fracture. I talked to my doctor. He said Reclast is the only FDA-approved, once-a-year treatment for postmenopausal osteoporosis. It's given by a nurse or doctor and takes at least 15 minutes.
One annual IV, along with daily calcium and vitamin D, works to help strengthen your bones and protect them from fracture for 12 months.
He also told me that no other osteoporosis treatment is approved to help protect bones from fracture in more places, including hip, spine, even other bones.
Reclast has Rhoda written all over it. If you're concerned about fractures, talk to your doctor. See if Reclast is right for you.
