Reclast is Also Proven to Prevent Osteoporosis

When bones thin, Reclast can help prevent osteoporosis.

Some women can lose up to 20% of their bone mass in the first 5 to 7 years after menopause. As you grow older, your bones may continue to become thinner and weaker.

If left untreated, this lower bone mass, also known as osteopenia, can develop into osteoporosis—which puts you at considerably greater risk of bone fracture.

The good news is Reclast is FDA approved to treat osteopenia so it doesn't become osteoporosis. You may have a Reclast treatment once every two years to help keep your bones healthy and strong. Check with your insurance to see if you're covered for osteopenia.

In studies, postmenopausal women who were treated with a single dose of Reclast once every two years (along with daily calcium and Vitamin D) actually increased bone mass.

Treating osteopenia today can help prevent osteoporosis in the future. Ask your doctor how Reclast can help.
